5 Stars El Olivio in Sherman, TX is hands-down one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the area! We've eaten here several times, and every visit is better than the last. The carnitas tortas were absolutely amazing—perfectly seasoned and loaded with flavor. My daughter had the beef and bean nachos, and the homemade tortilla chips were honestly the best we've ever had! Food has been excellent everytime we've eaten here. Fajitas are top notch and beef is so tender. Quesadillas are fat and full just like we love them. Guacamole is 10/10 and we like the salsa, a lot.
Excellent food. Had the Quesabirras. Highly recommend this dish. I also tried the Elote for the time and loved it. Husband the Chile Relleno and it was just as good. We will be back
Such delicious food!! We have been searching for a Mexican restaurant and I can say this is 100% the best we’ve been to in Texas! The food is amazing and everyone was so welcoming. My daughter LOVED the music. All around amazing experience. Definitely check them out!
Me and a coworker came by to eat and let me tell you the food was amazing the chips were homemade, the rice was cooked perfectly, the enchiladas were fresh and nice and hot, the service was amazing, warm and welcoming we felt right at home. I will definitely come back for more! Thank you please come on by you won’t regret it! 10/10 would def recommend
We ordered the Alambres and the Olivo Parrallidas plates and it was fantastic! The food was fresh, had wonderful flavor and the staff was so polite and attentive. The serving size was good also. We will definitely be coming back to visit this establishment.

honestly out of all the Mexican restaurants this is the most authentic everything else Is white washed. They had great food the food was seasoned and good looking. The young lady’s are all super sweet and fast. Even thought this place is fairly new it’s a great place!!!
